After a long hiatus and a life changing event, Akin Akinozu will be featured in a new project. Turkish media journalist Birsen Altuntas reported that Tuba Büyüküstün and Akın Akınözü will co-star in a new film by Ali Kemal Güven, the director of the award-winning film Çilingir Sofrası. The new movie entitled Mardin’in En Güzel Kızı (The Most Beautiful Girl in Mardin) is about a couple trapped in a toxic relationship.
The film has already sparked great curiosity and is expected to start filming this year. Altuntas also reports that the film will be featured at various international film festivals.
