Kaderimin Oyunu Update

We told you about Akin’s new project, Kaderimin Oyunu with co-star Oyku Karayel (Ethos, Kuzey Guney) which is anticipated to air in late fall 2021. We have learned that Akin’s character is named Cemal and he is husband to Oyku’s character Asiye.

Also Joining the cast are Esra Dermancioglu (Bir Zamanlar Cukurova), Kaan Cakir (Istanbulu Gelin) and Meric Aral (Kirmizi Oda).

The series started filming October 14 in Istanbul ….

….and shifted to the city of Amasya in the Black Sea region of Turkey on October 17th.

Amasya, an Ottoman city, stands in the mountains above the Black Sea coast, along the banks of the Yeşilırmak River. Over its 7,500 year history it has been a wealthy provincial capital, producing kings and princes, artists, scientists, poets and thinkers, to many generations of the Ottoman imperial dynasty.

Note: In an impromptu interview, the director of the series indicated that the show will likely air in late November or early December. He also indicated that the first three episodes of the series would be filmed in Amasya.
