After taking Turkey by storm for his role as Miran Aslanbey in the drama series Hercai, Akin Akinozu has been nominated in the Best Male Actor in a Series category of one of Turkey’s most prestigious entertainment awards. Altin Kelebek Odulleri (Golden Butterfly Award) is similar to the Academy Awards in prestige and it is a great honor to be nominated. Not only that… but he is also paired up with his co-star Ebru Sahin for Best Couple in a Drama award as well. Hercai was nominated in several categories including in the Best Dramatic Series category.

Updated: Due to COVID this award was pushed back several months to June. Unfortunately Akin did not win the award, but we are glad he was nominated!
Akin Akinozu should have won and not Kerem. Akin role compare to Kerem is much more difficult to act. Kerem role is just plain simpke acting nothing exciting but Akin has everything that an award should represent recognised and so deserving .To me Akin is the the true winner…
