Aile Albumu (Family Album), Akin Akinozu’s new project is expected to begin filming in January in Istanbul. The new drama series is an O3 Medya production directed by Zeynep Günay and written by Serkan Yörük who also collaborated on Istanbulu Gelin and Klup (The Club). The series tells the story of childhood sweethearts Kılıç (Akın Akınözü) and Deniz (Aslıhan Malbora) whose paths cross in their hometown years after law school. Aslihan Malbora is known for her role of Ayda Akman in the popular series Her Yerde Sen. Aile Albumu is Akinozu’s eighth series in as many years and his recent series, Hercai, Kaderimin Oyunu and Tuzak have been popular among international audiences.
It is not clear which channel will pick up the series at this time.
